Trust timing in your life. Many times we get upset because we miss the bus, the train or the flight. We get mad because we are late or there is a lot of traffic that delays us getting to our destination on time.
Wasted time can’t be recycled; every second that had gone will never be back again. Try your best to make the best of your time. In our lives, we wait in lines for banks, the post office cashier and other places for around five years in total! Imagine spending these five years doing something you enjoy, like reading a book, writing, listening to music or even improving your waiting skills!
There is a reason for every second of delay and we must trust the timing of our life, as everything happens for a reason. Many times we rush to start something and we get upset if we don’t finish it on time. We get angry if we don’t finish our studies in three years instead of four. We undervalue the time and set deadlines that we can’t meet and then get upset that we have delays or we are late.
Even if all your plans go wrong and you don’t do the things you like or you want, take another day, another month or another year. If you missed the train, stay positive about it and know that it happens for a reason that most of the time we don’t understand. And if you manage to use this time for something useful for yourself and your soul, why get mad? You can use this time for your own benefit and there is no reason to be down.
On my last trip to the Holy Land, I was forced to put my bag with the stowed luggage and got upset for a while. But then on the train, after waiting for an hour, I met several interesting people. Then we chatted the whole way, for two whole hours.
Many times we try to force things to happen at a specific time and we don’t recognize that we are not ready for it to happen. If it happens now, at the moment you want it while you are not ready, you won’t get the highest benefit from it or learn the best lesson because you are not ready for it.
If you put a goal in front of you many times and force your thoughts to focus on that goal and force your energy to flow there, you will suffer. Try instead to let things flow, trust the time of your life and move forward enjoying the moments and believing that everything will fall into place.
Follow your guts and believe that, at the right time, everything will happen for the best for you and you will connect all the dots at the right time. And, as Steve Jobs said, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, your destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down and it has made all the difference in my life.”
Trust timing, enjoy the moment and seize the day.
From the last few hours of my 29th year, I took one hour to have a photo shoot featuring the new Emporio Armani watches that I bought, matching one outfit for the navy watch and an all-black and gray suit for the black watch.
