It was with much excitement that I welcomed the surprise visit of my brother Ali recently. Although it was a busy period at work, I was happy to see him and entertain him in my current country of residence, Cyprus. We visited Mork Men’s Boutique, where of course he shopped a few pieces, and we chose a few others outfits to photograph.
You can’t visit Cyprus and not take a walk down in the Old Town and enjoy coffee in the traditional coffee places…where of course my stylist and friend, Katerina, needed two coffees to start the day. I on the other hand can function with or without coffee as does my brother who is very athletic and nutrition conscious.
Health and fitness run in the family, as does modeling. Ali recently starred in a movie about a Palestinian football player and the politics that govern the sport. It was his first acting role and we were all so anxious to see how it would turn out.
We visited Faneromeni Square and enjoyed a brisk walk down in the side streets of the Old Town. Ali was very impressed with the selection of different styles at Mork and he put together this colorful outfit himself and styled it in his own way. I really liked the shirt I wore, with little Vespas printed on the fabric, in combination with beige trousers and burgundy leather shoes. Thankfully the weather was cooperative and sunny and our shoot went smoothly.
